A Kitchen Designed For Entertaining

Warmer weather on the Chesapeake Bay means entertaining dockside, and this new kitchen was designed with just that in mind. Overlooking the water in Arnold, Maryland, this open concept kitchen spills directly onto a porch and backyard designed for a day on the water.

Knowing that they loved to entertain, the homeowners first request was a set of windows that fully open to an outside bar. Lined with stools, the bar allows guests to take in the sights and sounds of nature while meals and drinks are prepared indoors.

Another smart addition, was a set of islands selected and installed so that the home's chef can stay busy preparing the meal of the day, while indoor guest simultaneously gather comfortably just footsteps away.
